The Woy Woy Cup Report

On Wednesday the 31st of August, the junior and senior rugby league teams went to Rogers Park play in the Woy Woy Cup.

The junior team lost the first game to Umina and that score was 16-6. Liam scored under the post and converted it, so we gained one point.

The second game was to be played against Point Clare, but they pulled out, so we were awarded three points.

The next game we played was against Ettalong and we won that one 18-6. So that gave us another three points.

Our following game was against Woy Woy and we won 12-6. So that brought our score up to 10 points.

The game before the finals was against St John the Baptist, which we won that one 30-0. With a grand total of 13 points, we had made it to the Grand Final with the cup favourite, Umina.

The final was a close game, but the underdogs won 12-6! We received the trophy for 2011 and we're very proud of it.
